Sarah Moore, Birth Doula, Placenta Encapsulator
The wonderful, unmedicated births of her daughters paired with the unhappy birth stories of others motivated her to become a doula. Her journey as a doula started with the births required by DONA International to become a certified doula and has continued to expand in both the hospital and homebirth settings. She is passionate about natural birth and overall reform of the childbirth system in America. Sarah is a certified birth doula through DONA International. She is also a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. She a board member of the Quad Cities Birth Coalition, the Quad Cities/Western Illinois Representative for Illinois Friends of Midwives, and also volunteers as a childbirth educator at Pregnancy Resources.
Sarah is a plumber’s wife and the mother of three beautiful little girls. She enjoys staying home with her daughters, their dog, Rowdy, and their backyard chickens.
